Day Two: God the Healer

Day Two

Ephesus was located in what is now known as Turkey. It was a wealthy city with the prosperity with the businesses of agriculture, industry, and commerce. It was a city that “flourished under Roman protection”.

Many traveled to Ephesus to enjoy the many wonders; such as the “wide avenues, huge public buildings and squares, and luxurious private homes designed to impress tourists.”
It was home to a theater which could hold 25,000 people and many temples of which “used color and symbols to attract the eye.” It was also home of the goddess, Diana, whose main form of worship was sexual.

Into this city came Paul, who boldly and unabashedly preached the gospel to reveal to them the free gift of salvation to Ephesus; to teach them the power of the Christ to heal and be sanctified.

Are you looking for healing everywhere but from God? Are you frustrated with the lack of results you are getting from doing the same thing over and over? Do you want to be and to make holy? In the lines below, pour out words of confession to the Lord; He will save and He will purify. Ask the Lord for that healing and restoration with an honesty that cannot be touched but only by the hands of God.
